Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 12 June 2026 · Last updated: 12 June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of the anzscofinder Terms of Service. It applies to
everyone who uses the anzscofinder API platform at platform.anzscofinder.com (the "Service").
Contact: hello@anzscofinder.com.
You must not, and must not permit anyone to:
1. Unlawful or non-consensual data
- Submit any personal information without a lawful basis and any consent required, including consent
for overseas processing in the United States (see the Privacy Policy).
- Submit sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) you are not
authorised to process, or data of children, except where lawful and intended. CVs may contain
sensitive information; you warrant you have the heightened consent APP 3.3 requires.
- Use the Service to unlawfully discriminate, profile, or make decisions that have legal or
similarly significant effects on a person without appropriate human review and a lawful basis.
2. Misrepresentation as advice
- Represent the Service's output as immigration, migration, visa, legal or career advice, as a
statement of visa eligibility, or as a substitute for a registered migration agent or legal
practitioner.
3. Security and abuse
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or underlying systems.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission.
- Circumvent or exceed credit limits, rate limits, or other usage controls; resell or sublicense
raw API access except as expressly permitted.
- Reverse engineer the Service except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
4. Harmful or abusive content and load
- Submit malware, or content that is illegal, infringing, or designed to disrupt the Service.
- Use automated means to place excessive load on the Service or to evade metering.
5. Consequences
We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe
this AUP has been breached. For non-serious breaches we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity
to cure where practicable; we may act immediately where necessary for security or legal reasons, for
a serious breach, or to protect the Service, our users or any person. Serious or unlawful conduct may
be reported to the relevant authorities.
We may update this AUP from time to time; the current version is published on this page.
